Milana

  Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American actress, comedian and activist. She was born to Jewish parents in the Soviet Union and started her career as child actress after she moved to the United States. She gained notoriety for her appearances in AT&T commercials on TV as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and , since then, until 2020. Apart from her commercial appearances, she also appeared as a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also played the role of a regular character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. After being featured in the TV pilot unaired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also is the voice of Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At the age of two, she immigrated with her parents to U.S. to escape antisemitism. She moved to West Hollywood. When she was five, she began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. After her sophomore year, she dropped out and got a GED. She continued, however, to obtain a Bachelor of Arts, Communication from University of California San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and was a student of Improv comedy.
